The size of a smallholding can vary widely, but it is generally smaller than what would be considered a commercial farm. Smallholdings may focus on various agricultural activities such as crop cultivation, animal husbandry (raising livestock), or a combination of both. They may also include a farmhouse or other residential structures for the people who manage the land.
